mind and nurture your heart.
What is this workshop about?
This transformational workshop integrates the works of many different
techniques aimed towards the achievement of personal growth, expansiveness
of consciousness, healing and spirituality.
With the assistance of facilitators, a safe environment and a
partner/sitter for support, you can experience your “self” beyond
your beliefs, emotions and sensations. Evocative music assists
the “journeying” process accompanied by the breath
bringing awareness to the body, images and experiences that are
unique for each individual.
Why attend this workshop?
In our daily experiences we are influenced by the dramas of the
past. So much more of us is hidden from view. By glancing into
the deeper self, explore unknown aspects of your being, bringing
forth new functional resources to your relationships and interactions
in every day life.
How does this happen?
These aspects of yourself are ever present, but during this four
hour time frame set aside you have an opportunity to “let
go” and become an explorer. The music, breath, movement and
support aide in this process.
What does the breath do?
For thousands of years, attention to breathing has been a significant
focus in many psychological and spiritual traditions. Many of the
Eastern systems relating to human development are the same as developmental
psychologies of the west. Eastern and Shamanic systems use breathing
for both psychological and spiritual growth. Awareness of the breath
helps to give the mind a focus and can open up awareness to other
realities of the psyche.
How will I let go?
Your inner psyche has a protective mechanism that is “built
in”, allowing you to experience only that which you are ready
to explore. Your full conscious awareness of actions is always
available and you can stop the process at any time. With the assistance
of skilled facilitators your experience will be kept safe and supported.
Cost: $40 per person
